Mr. Mark Prestipino joined Borealis Ventures in April 2010.
He works as a member of the Borealis investment team as we evaluate new investment opportunities and facilitates the development of new start-up company ideas in the software space with our growing network of technology entrepreneurs and partners.
Mr. Prestipino brings several years of software industry experience to the Borealis team.
He began his career in sales and general management, advancing to VP US Field Operations for Versyss (private/healthcare) and Softdesk (public/engineering).
Mr. Prestipino most recently served as President/CEO at Borealis portfolio company Scribe Software (private/SMB integration), where he executed a successful turnaround, growth plan, and eventual sale of the company.
He has successfully managed companies at all stages of development and is known as a hands-on executive with a track record of building strong teams and channels focused on delivering superior results and customer loyalty.
