Marian Spurrier

Marian is the Operating Partner for People at Level, supporting Level’s deal teams during due diligence and helping portfolio companies accelerate their growth post investment.
She coaches and advises Level portfolio companies in hiring, retaining, engaging and growing talent, compensation & benefits and other human capital management or high-performance strategies to propel growth.
In addition to supporting portfolio companies, Marian is also responsible for leading Human Resources at Level for its internal team.
Before joining Level, Marian served as Chief People Officer at SaaS eCommerce company Teikametrics, helping scale its global team, hire key C-suite roles, secure funding rounds and manage strategic talent initiatives to support their growth.
Previously, Marian held several leadership roles in HR, specializing in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Performance Management, Culture & Engagement and Compensation & Benefits.
Marian also spent several years in Executive Coaching and as a Strategic HR Advisor, helping high growth organizations and teams hire, develop, retain, perform, and grow.
Marian received her B.A.
from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and her M.A.
from Columbia University.
She lives with her husband and dog in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
