Mari Kiviniemi

Mari Kiviniemi is currently the Chairman at the University of Vaasa and an Independent Director at Metsä Board Oyj.
Previously, she served as the Director at Suomen kansallisooppera ja -baletti sr from 2013 to 2014 and from 2004 to 2007.
She was also the Director at Blic Oy in 2019-2020 and at Suomi Mutual Life Assurance Co. in 2013-2014.
Additionally, she held the position of Managing Director at Kaupan liitto ry from 2019 to 2024.
Ms. Kiviniemi served as the Prime Minister of the Government of Finland from 2010 to 2011.
She was a Member of the Supervisory Board at Apetit Oyj from 1996 to 2005 and at Ilkka Oyj from 2006 to 2007.
She also served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Alko Oy from 2002 to 2003, at VR-Yhtymä Oyj from 1995 to 1997, and at Leonia Bank from 1997 to 2000.
Furthermore, she was a Member of the City Council-Helsinki from 2005 to 2012 and the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council from 2004 to 2008.
Ms. Kiviniemi was a Member of the Parliament of Finland from 1995 to 2014.
She also served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo & Convention Centre from 2019 to 2021.
