Mr. Zeliang Lu is a Senior Portfolio Manager & Head of Fixed Income at University of Toronto Asset Management Corp.
He joined the firm in 2012 and has more than 10 years of investment experience.
He plays a key role in firm investment activities, overseeing all fixed income investment portfolios (including private credit).
Within these portfolios, Mr. Lu leads portfolio construction, investment strategy and monitoring.
Prior to joining University of Toronto Asset Management, he spent nearly four years with HSBC Bank Canada in the risk department, where he was a Manager responsible for risk analysis and monitoring for market and traded credit risk.
He earned his Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance (M.Sc.) from the University of British Columbia and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics (B.Sc.) from Peking University.
Mr. Lu also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
