Prior to founding Aristos in October 2006, Mr. Shimunov was a Vice President with Dreman Value Management, LLC and co-portfolio manager of the DWS Dreman Mid Cap Value from 2005-2006 and Dreman Contrarian Mid Cap Value Funds from 2003 2006.
Mr. Shimunov also served as a Healthcare analyst at DVM from 2003 to 2006 with research coverage for $2.8 billion in healthcare holdings.
His unique approach incorporates primary research, proprietary financial modeling and fundamental analysis.
Prior to Dreman, Mr. Shimunov was an analyst at Morgan Stanley, concentrating on the Healthcare industry from 2000 2002.
Prior to that, from 1999 2000 Mr. Shimunov was a member of a #1 II ranked Technology Team at Morgan Stanley Equity Research.
Mr. Shimunov received a BS in Finance, summa cum laude, from St. Johns University.
Mr. Shimunov is a member of the CFA Institute and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
He is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
