Lawrence J.
Schorno has been President of the Rocky Prairie Corp.
and Schorno Auction Co. since 2005.
From 1975 to 2003, he was President of Schorno Agri-Business, which he founded.
He is a Trustee of Washington State University and served as Chairman of the Board of Prairie Security Bank.
Mr. Schorno has been active in the Thurston County Economic Development Council and the Association of Washington Business.
He has been a Director of Venture Bank since 1997 and Venture Financial Group, Inc. since 2002.
Mr. Larry J.
Schorno, Director, joined the Venture Bank Board of Directors in 1997 and the Venture Financial Group Board of Directors in 2002.
Mr. Schorno was President of Schorno Agri-Business from 1975 to 2003, a livestock export company he founded.
Mr. Schorno pioneered the shipment of livestock by full charter aircraft.
Schorno Agri-Business remains one of the nation’s leading exporters of live animals and embryos, shipping to more than 15 countries.
He serves as President of the Rocky Prairie Corp., a commercial real estate company, and Schorno Auction Co., a livestock sales firm; he has held these positions since 2005.
Mr. Schorno is currently a trustee of Washington State University and was named Yelm Citizen of the year for 2002 and 2004.
Mr. Schorno served as Chairman of the Board of Prairie Security Bank, which we acquired in 1997.
Mr. Schorno has been active in the Thurston County Economic Development Council, the Association of Washington Business and was a recipient of the Washington State Governor’s Export Award.
