Kip Koons

Mr. Koons has extensive experience directing key strategic and operational initiatives in both large publicly held and small private companies.
He has specialized in managing acquisitions and divestitures, post merger integrations, business restructurings and strategic planning and has extensive experience communicating strategic issues, and forecasts to owners, boards of directors and lenders.
He began his career in the corporate banking division of Chemical Bank and then spent over 19 years with American Maize-Products Company as Vice President of Corporate Development and Planning.
Since 1997 he has been the Managing Partner for Maywood Advisors, LLC, a financial consulting firm.
He has experience in the corn refining, tobacco, candy, lead acid battery and building materials retailing industries, among others.
Mr. Koons received a B.A.
form Cornell University in Economics and a JD from the George Washington University Law School.
He also completed an executive education program in Marketing Management at Harvard Business School.
