Mr. Kane joined Rainier in 2004, bringing with him both buy- and sell-side perspective, including extensive hands-on knowledge and experience with traditional and electronic trading strategies and state-of-the-art cost analysis tools.
His sell-side trading experience began with Sherwood Securities/NDB Capital Markets in Jersey City, NJ, where he traded small- and mid-capitalization securities.
He gained buy-side trading experience working with Westpeak Global Advisors in Boulder, CO, and most recently with Safeco Asset Management in Seattle, where he was responsible for equity trading.
Mr. Kane received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
He is licensed through the NASD as a registered representative.
