John Augustine Washington

Washington is Founder & Managing Director Emeritus at Farr, Miller & Washington LLC.
Prior to co-founding FM&W in 1996, Mr. Washington spent over forty years with Alex.
Brown & Sons.
From 1964 to 1984, he was the Administrative Manager of the D.C.
office.
He is an emeritus member of the Board of Directors of Columbia Hospital for Women and former Chairman of the Board.
He is a former President of the Board of Trustees of the House of Mercy.
He served as president of the Washington Society of Investment Analysts in 1964-65 and is a current member of the society.
From 1957 until 1961, he was Editor of the Facts and Figures on Washington Securities.
He is also the representative of General George Washington in the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Virginia.
Mr. Washington is a graduate of the Hotchkiss School and Harvard College, cum laude.
