The Group's principal activities are to provide integrated computer solutions and multi-vendor telephone and cellular equipment. Distribution and Franchising Division includes distribution activities and the franchising of locations that sell a broad range of information technology products and services to consumers. CompuSmart Division operates Variable Interest Entities ('VIE') and Company owned and operated CompuSmart stores. Commercial Division operates VIE and Company owned and operated locations within the commercial networks. Telephone Booth Division operates the Telephone Booth retail store network through 49 locations. It offers selection of wireless, traditional and cordless telephones and telephone accessories. The Group acquired Tesseract Software Ltd, Softwarehouse (West) Inc and Vancouver Office Technologies Inc in fiscal 2005.

Hartco, Inc. provides information technology solutions to private and public sector organizations. The company operates its business through three segments: Franchising and Distribution, Commercial and Corporate Services. The Franchising and Distribution segment encompasses the franchising businesses and sells a range of Information Technology solutions. The Commercial segment includes business activities operated by the company's Metafore Technologies Inc. The Corporate Services segment includes activities and expenses related to company's corporate and shared services that are partially recharged to the operating segments.
