Dr. Janez Kren is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Economic & Social Research Institute.
He joined ESRI in November 2020 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
His main research interests are in applied econometrics, data visualisation, productivity analysis and international economics.
Previously, Dr. Kren worked as a short-term consultant on several projects at the World Bank.
There he was working on more policy-oriented issues such as productivity, regulation of service sectors, digital economy and public procurement.
He holds PhD and MSc in economics from the University of Leuven.
