Grace Yang re-joined Advent in 2002, after originally joining the firm in 1997.
Before Advent, she was a founding principal with ArrowPath Venture Capital, a spin-out of E*TRADE's corporate venture arm.
At ArrowPath, Grace completed over a dozen technology investments, was involved at the board level at three software companies and successfully helped raise $320 million of capital commitments from corporate and institutional limited partners.
Previously, she was the director of corporate development at E*TRADE Group, where she managed strategic acquisitions, business development and minority investments for the company.
Grace has also worked as an investment banker with Volpe, Welty & Co., where she completed 20 software and Internet-related public offerings and strategic advisory assignments.
She began her career as a financial analyst with Jones Lang LaSalle, a real estate investment company.
At Advent, Grace has participated in two investments: CVC Inc. (Nasdaq: CVCI, subsequently acquired by Veeco Instruments) and PaySys International (acquired by First Data).
She holds a BSc in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
