As a founding partner of Alpine Pacific Capital, Mr. Degner is active in all aspects of the firm’s operations.
Prior to co-founding Alpine Pacific, Mr. Degner was a Managing Director with a boutique investment firm in Irvine, CA, leading all aspects of corporate finance and private equity investing activities.
Mr. Degner also worked with Charterhouse Group as an Advisor responsible for directing transaction and execution support as well as cultivating and maintaining relationships with conventional and alternative deal sources, management teams and service providers.
Prior to Charterhouse, Mr. Degner founded and managed a private equity consulting firm that worked with numerous private equity funds, including Oak Hill Capital Partners.
Additionally, Mr. Degner founded and managed Cimarron Equity Partners, a micro market private equity fund.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Degner worked with a division of Citicorp focused on M&A for privately-held companies in the lower middle market.
Mr. Degner holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
In addition, he is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute.
Mr. Degner is an active member of the Orange County Chapter of Gen-Next (a private organization of executives dedicated to learning about and becoming engaged in the most pressing challenges facing future generations); and is the President of the Orange County Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
