Fredrik Adams joined Tempo as a Partner in January 2007 following Tempo’s acquisition of the Viventures 2 portfolio in August 2006.
Since December 2003, he had been a Venture Partner at Viventures/VPSA, the €350m venture fund based in Paris, where he was responsible for managing 6 portfolio investments.
In parallel, he served as independent chairman of PET medical imaging start-up Petrra, and was a co-founder of Betclick, the B2C sports betting website.
His career in venture capital started as an investment manager from 1999 until 2003 at European Equity Partners, www.eeplp.com then a €53m venture capital fund based in London.
He worked on investments in telecom systems and media in Scandinavia and the UK, including PacketFront, Transmode and Whatsonwhen.
From 2000 until 2006, he also sat on the board of Matrix Income & Growth 2, the LSE-listed investment trust.
Earlier, he worked on the turn-around of Head, the Austrian sporting goods manufacturer, and in corporate finance at Nomura International.
He started his career with privatisations in Malaysia and the Czech Republic.
Fredrik Adams was educated at Lund University, Sweden, and at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester.
