First National Bank of the Rockies traces its roots back to the Old West when it was chartered in 1904 as The First National Bank of Meeker. In 2004, a third Grand Junction office was opened on Horizon Drive, as was an office in Steamboat Springs. In 2006, First National Bank of the Rockies continued its expansion in the Grand Junction market with the opening of an Orchard Mesa office.
