Derrick Ramsey

Apprenticeships For America (AFA) is a non-profit organization that aims to bring registered apprenticeships to the scale experienced by other advanced economies. The non-profit company is based in Washington. AFA's strategy includes research, advocacy, grassroots mobilization, and creating a network to enhance collaboration among apprenticeship intermediaries, service providers, schools, employers, and other apprenticeship sponsors, labor representatives, and researchers. The chairman of the board is Dr. Robert I. Lerman, and other board members include State Senator Jim Rosapepe, Derrick Ramsey, Earl Buford, and Ann Marie Stieritz. The organization was founded by Robert Lerman, Ryan D. Craig, and a team of highly experienced apprenticeship experts who oversee and direct the ongoing activities of AFA.
