Mr. Jacob joined Standard & Poor in August 2008.
He has wealth of experience in fixed income investment analysis and the structured finance markets.
During his career, he has worked with a number of well-known financial institutions, including 14 years with Nomura Securities International where he was head of Structuring and Fixed Income Research, U.S.
and later managing director, head of International Fixed Income Research.
Through the 1980s and ‘90s he served as managing director, head of Fixed Income Research, at JPMorgan and before that as a vice president at Morgan Stanley in a variety of areas in fixed income, including trading and quantitative analytics.
Prior to joining Standard & Poor’s, he was a principle with Adelson & Jacob Consulting, a structured finance consulting firm.
He began his career as an analyst at Moody’s Investor Service and Equitable Life Assurance.
Mr. Jacob received an M.B.A.
in Finance and Accounting and an M.S.
in Mathematics from New York University.
