Daniel Kraft

Mr. Daniel Kraft joins ViewPoint Capital Partners as a Venture Partner.
Most recently, Mr. Kraft drove key initiatives as SVP of Corporate Strategy with Open Text Corporation (NASDAQ: OTEX).
In this role, Mr. Kraft was instrumental in helping the company to become the market leader in Enterprise Content Management growing into one of the Top 20 Global Software Companies.
Drawing from a decade of experience running and advising growing and innovative companies, Mr. Kraft will be expanding the advisory team of Viewpoint Capital Partners and bring further expertise and deep knowledge of the Enterprise Application Software field to the fund and its portfolio companies.
Prior to Open Text, Mr. Kraft held the position as President and CEO of RedDot Solutions establishing the company as market leader in Web Content Management.
Under his leadership, RedDot experienced substantial revenue & margin growth, two successful acquisitions and was ultimately integrated into the Open Text Group.
Mr. Kraft has a strong background in corporate finance holding several positions in corporate finance including Associate Director of the Global Technology Group of Commerzbank Securities originating and executing transactions in Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity Capital Markets and Private Equity throughout Europe and North America.
Mr. Kraft holds a degree of Business Engineering from the University of Applied Science Giessen/Friedberg.
