Daniel Carter joined Conduit in 2003 and is responsible for investment origination, structuring, management, exits and fundraising.
Daniel has served on the boards of CMR Fuel Cells and Polyfuel (observer), both listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Prior to Conduit, Daniel worked for Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney for 8 years based in London, Frankfurt, Melbourne and New York.
He was co-founder of the Power Technology franchise at Citigroup in Europe.
Daniel executed private equity placements, M&A, IPOs, privatizations, and securitized debt financings for utilities, industrial and power technology sectors.
Prior to this, Daniel was with Heller Financial Corporation in Chicago (now GE Capital).
Daniel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MBA from the London Business School, a B.S.
from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and an M.A.
from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
He has also studied at the Universität Wien in Vienna, Austria and Universität Mannheim in Mannheim, Germany.
Daniel is a dual national of the USA and United Kingdom.
He is a registered person with the UK Financial Services Authority.
An avid sailor, Daniel is working towards the International Yachtmaster qualification.
