Daming Yang

Mr. Yang has served on our Board of Directors since 2000 and has been President from 2000 to 2005.
Mr. Yang was also President of Big Sky Energy Corporation's subsidiaries Big Sky Energy Kazakhstan Ltd.
and Big Sky Energy Atyrau Ltd.
Mr. Yang has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1994.
From 1995 through 1998, Mr. Yang served as President of Tongli Energy Technical Service Company Limited, an importer of high-technology oil and gas equipment to China.
In 1994, Mr. Yang was instrumental in successfully negotiating and obtaining approvals for China's first two production sharing agreements, which resulted in China witnessing its first foreign-operated horizontal drilling program.
From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Yang was with Tri-City Survey Limited as a GIS Engineer.
Mr. Yang is a Canadian citizen, and he holds the designation of Distinguished Overseas Chinese citizen, awarded in 2000.
Mr. Yang holds a Masters degree in Aerial Photography and Remote Sensing from Netherlands International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences.
Mr. Yang graduated from Beijing Radio and Television Broadcasting University with a BSc.
in Electrical Engineering in 1982.
Mr. Yang serves as chair of the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee and sits on the Corporate Governance Committee.
