Mr. Chris McGibbon is a Managing Director at TIAA-CREF Investment Management LLC.
He is also a Head of Americas Global Real Estate of the firm and responsible for all real estate investment operations in the U.S.
He is also a senior member of the TIAA-CREF Real Assets team which is comprised of real estate, agriculture, timber, infrastructure and energy investments.
He recently served as the Portfolio Manager for the real property and commercial mortgage allocation of TIAA’s General Account and previously served as lead Portfolio Manager for TIAA-CREF’s direct real estate open-end vehicle.
Prior to that Mr. McGibbon was a director of real estate acquisition for the Western region and also worked in the mortgage division.
He joined TIAA-CREF in 2001.
Mr. McGibbon has over 19 years of real estate acquisition, management and finance experience, including positions with Codina Development Corporation and The Related Group of Florida.
He holds a B.S.
in Business from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A from the University of Florida.
