Chen He

Dr. Chen He is a Research Analyst at SSgA Funds Management, Inc. He is also the Vice President of SSGA and a Senior Quantitative Research Analyst in the systematic equity-active team, responsible for quantitative equities model development and improvement.
He is also the lead ESG research analyst for the SE-Active Team.
Before joining SSGA, Dr. He worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Numeric Investors in Boston.
There, he worked on quantitative stock selection models, portfolio optimization, portfolio construction and new strategy development.
Dr. He obtained his Master of Science in Finance from the Norwegian School of Management (BI) in 2000, and his Ph.D.
in Finance from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005.
He has published in the Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Portfolio Management, Journal of Investment Management as well as book chapter in Institutional Money management.
He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Dr. He is also the holder of CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.
