Mr. Pollard retired as CEO of The ServiceMaster Company in 2001, and remains as Chairman Emeritus.
During his leadership of the Company, ServiceMaster was recognized by Fortune magazine as the #1 service company among the Fortune 500, and was included on its most admired companies.
Mr. Pollard also serves as a director of two other public companies: Herman Miller, Inc. and Unum Provident Corporation and is a director or trustee of a number of not-for-profit organizations including Wheaton College and The Drucker Foundation.
Mr. Pollard is a graduate of Wheaton College and he received a J.D.
from the Northwestern University School of Law.
