Prior to joining Wrightwood Capital, Mr. Ballent was Regional Manager for Merrill Lynch Capital, where he was responsible for structured and mezzanine lending in Texas and the Western United States.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Capital, Mr. Ballent was Senior Vice President and Regional Manger at Heller Financial.
He has also held the position of Vice President for both Wells Fargo Bank and Continental Bank.
Mr. Ballent earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and a MBA from Indiana University in Bloomington .
