Select Equity Group LP (SEG) is a registered investment advisor headquartered in New York City. The firm was originally founded in 1990 as Select Equity Group, Inc. (SEGI). In 2013, SEG was formed in connection with the merger of SEGI and its affiliate, Select Offshore Advisors LLC, into a single employee-owned investment advisory entity.
