Mr. Ben Hare joined Goldman Sachs JBWere Asset Management (GSJBWAM) in January 2000.
Before his current role, Mr. Hare was an Equities Dealer within GSJBWAMs Australian equities team where he was responsible for the execution of trades across the Australian equities, infrastructure and listed property portfolios.
Previously, he worked as a Quantitative Analyst where he was involved in the attribution analysis of performance, operation of risk models and database development and maintenance.
Prior to joining the Australian equities team, Mr. Hare worked as an Investment Analyst in the Research and Information Services team.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Mr. Hare is also undertaking a Master of Business Administration at the Melbourne Business School.
In October 2007, Mr. Hare received the IFSA/Deloitte Future Leaders Award for his paper titled, Climate change and its implications for the investment industry.
