Ayako Miyahara

Ayako works on investor relations and fundraising at Genesia Ventures.
Prior to joining Genesia Ventures, Ayako developed her career as a financial officer at the Japan’s policy based financial institution - Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) in charge of corporate finance and equity finance deals for 8 years.
She also has a field experience as a JBIC’s representative in Manila to facilitate strategic partnership with multilateral stakeholders such as Asian Development Bank (ADB).
She also worked at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna to develop baseline scenarios through the potential climate finance options in developping fields.
Having a Bachelor degree in International Relations and Development studies from the University of Sussex in the UK, Ayako currently pursuing Master degree in Energy Policy from her alma mater, and developing the analytical and practical skills to address some of today’s most pressing global energy challenges including inequality, sustainability and climate changes.
