Amiel C. Bent

Mr. Bent joined the firm in October of 2006 bringing significant expertise to Syncom in the telecommunications and Internet Infrastructure sectors of the Media and Communications Industry.
Mr. Bent is responsible for identifying and leading deals through the various stages of Syncom's investment process as well as working with Syncom's portfolio companies to develop and execute business strategies that increase their enterprise value.
Prior to joining Syncom, Mr. Bent served as a Senior Manager of Strategic Business Analysis for MCI Telecommunications Inc. He also held positions in Corporate Product Analysis & Strategy; Internet Business Operations; and Competitive Analysis & Ventures for MCI.
Mr, Bent began his post-mba career as a Senior Treasury Analyst working for IBM in their corporate headquarters; he later worked for CDA Investment Technologies, a wholly owned division of the Thomson Financial company, as a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.
Prior to attending the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Mr. Bent served as a Systems Engineer with IBM and the General Electric Company, and gained expertise in designing and developing digital communication systems.
Mr. Bent holds a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA from Stanford University.
