Alexander Pöpping

Equity Partners GmbH (Equity Partners) is an independent German private equity firm which was founded in 2001 by Carsten Schmeding on behalf of the Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf with a mandate to focus on direct investments in the German mid-cap market. Based in Dusseldorf, Equity Partners invests globally in private equity funds as well as in small and medium-sized companies in Europe. They manage the Private Equity Anlageprogramm IV fund, encouraging their investee companies to develop ideas in mutually beneficial cooperation. The firm also offers their investment programs and services to external institutional investors.
