Afzal Amijee

Afzal Amijee has extensive experience in finance, operations and restructuring in Europe, Middle East and South East Asia.
Prior to joining Sun European Partners in 2008, Mr. Amijee held interim management and performance improvement positions including Finance Director of eHosting Datafort, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding, where he successfully executed the company's turnaround strategy; and CEO of Essentis Limited, a software business, where he implemented the restructuring and sale of the business in 2006.
Between 2002 and 2005, Mr. Amijee served as Group Performance Improvement Director at Cable & Wireless Plc.
He began his career in the Business Regeneration group of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, London, having received a Bachelors of Arts degree from University of Sheffield and a Sloan Masters of Science in Management from London Business School.
He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants, England & Wales.
