With the United Nations' sustainable development goals as the blueprint, Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) recognizes the core spirit of supporting 'Achieving Gender Equality and Empowering All Women and Girls' and incorporates gender equality norms into the business strategy, striving to create a diverse, equal, and inclusive (DEI) work environment.

Since 2020, we have been named to the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for four consecutive years, and have received perfect scores in the pillars of Anti-sexual harassment policies and Equal pay & gender pay parity, as well as an excellent score in the Inclusive culture pillar, demonstrating that Yuanta FHC's gender-friendly workplace results have been highly affirmed internationally.

The Bloomberg GEI annually identifies benchmark companies from around the world that are highly committed to gender equality and measures the extent to which companies around the world value gender equality on five GEI framework pillars, including Leadership & talent pipeline, Equal pay & gender pay parity, Inclusive culture, Anti-sexual harassment policies, and External brand. A total of 484 companies were selected this year, with members spanning 45 countries and regions and 54 industries in 11 categories, of which only 16 were selected from Taiwan.

Implementing gender equality in the workplace is a symbol of corporate progress. Over fifty percent (50%) of Yuanta FHC's employees are women. Yuanta FHC provides paid miscarriage leave, paternity pre-natal examination leave, and paternity leave that are better than the number of days required by law, and has set up warm breastfeeding rooms in office locations throughout Taiwan with more than 100 employees, and the room has been certified as an excellent breastfeeding room by Taipei City. The policies have allowed female employees to feel at ease at all stages from pregnancy, childbirth, to childcare.

Yuanta FHC has responded to the values of equal rights in marriage, work-family balance, and diversity in various management systems and legal rights, and integrated gender equality into the Yuanta Group's common training courses and carrying out of different activities. The Yuanta Group promotes Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) internally, offering free psychological counseling services to enable employees to maintain work-family balance.
