After it appeared that Henry Bolton's split with Jane Marney was not quite as permanent as was suggested a couple of days ago, William Hill are offering 8/11 that the current leader of UKIP leaves his position before the start of February.

'Henry Bolton seemingly ditched Ms Marney in order to save his career, however just days later, he is odds on to leave UKIP as leader before the month is over,' said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Should Bolton leave, it is Nigel Farage at 5/2 who heads the betting to replace him followed by Tim Aker and David Kurton both at 4/1.

Henry Bolton to still be UKIP leader on the 1st February 2018: 1/1 yes; 8/11 no

Next permanent leader of UKIP: 5/2 Nigel Farage; 4/1 Tim Aker; 4/1 David Kurton; 5/1 Peter Whittle; 8/1 Gerard Batten; 10/1 Ben Walker; 10/1 Bill Etheridge; 12/1 BAR
