Shunji Okamoto Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire an additional 22.54% stake in WILL,Co.,Ltd. (TSE:3241) from Shunji Ichiji on March 25, 2019. Shunji Okamoto Co., Ltd. will acquire 2.56 million shares of WILL,Co.,Ltd. Prior to the transaction, Shunji Okamoto Co., Ltd. held 4 million shares amounting to 35.26% stake and after the transaction, Shunji Okamoto Co., Ltd. will hold 6.56 million shares amounting to 57.8% stake in WILL,Co.,Ltd. The transaction is expected to be completed on March 26, 2019.
WILL, Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based real estate company. The Company operates in five business segments. The Distribution segment is engaged in the brokerage business of real estate sale and leasing. The Remodeling segment is engaged in the proposal of secondhand housing refurbishment and the provision of refurbishing works. The Development segment plans, develops and sells condominiums, detached houses and residential land spaces. The Consignment Sale segment is engaged in the consignment sale of condominiums, detached houses and houses for customers.
