ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

14 December, 2012

The Roper Bar Project area has been focus of most exploration and development for oolitic hematite mineralization to date.
The Mountain Creek Project area comprises two tenements called Mountain Creek EL 27143 and Tianda EL 25688. Mountain Creek EL is 100% owned by WDR, whilst EL 25688 was subject of an earn-in Heads of Agreement (HOA) between WDR and Tianda Resources (Australia) Pty Ltd. Under the terms of the HOA, WDR has earned a 70% interest through the expenditure of $850,000. The sale and purchase Agreement takes up the outstanding 30%.
EL 25688 has been subject of preliminary ground investigations only. First pass reconnaissance drilling earlier this year comprising 81 shallow RC holes was completed on three prospect areas. Assays confirmed the presence of shallow oolitic hematite mineralization up to 60.95% Fe. Rain cut short the program with several targets remaining to be tested.
A detailed airborne gravity survey flown last year over the tenement area also identified numerous areas as potential iron ore prospects.
A major drilling program to establish the extent and tenure of the hematite mineralization at the
Mountain Creek Project area is planned for 2013.
Mr Norm Gardner, the Managing Director said today "The Mountain Creek project area contains a lot of outcropping ironstone but has seen little on-the-ground exploration. This has been due to a couple of exceptionally heavy 'wet' seasons and the focus on resource definition and development of the DSO grade resource at Area F East at the Roper Bar Project area. Wrapping up the outstanding 30% of EL25688 gives Western Desert 100% ownership of the entire iron ore province. We look forward to proving up further areas of
interest with the drilling program planned for next year."
