USMD Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: USMD), a physician-led integrated healthcare system, announced today that three new physicians – Jennifer Duewall, M.D.; Amanda Muir, M.D.; and Brittany Shoemake, M.D. – have joined USMD Affiliated Services. These new physicians have been added to support the expanding healthcare needs of the communities and patients USMD serves.

Dr. Duewall and Dr. Shoemake have joined USMD’s growing group of internal medicine physicians, bringing the total number of internists to 59. They also increase the number of USMD primary care physicians accepting Medicare to nearly 100, strengthening USMD’s commitment to caring for and providing the highest quality healthcare to seniors in the DFW Metroplex. Dr. Muir specializes in internal medicine and pediatrics and has joined USMD as a floating, fill-in physician, providing care across the Metroplex.

Dr. Jennifer Duewall will practice at USMD’s Plano West Clinic. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center and her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School.

Dr. Amanda Muir will practice as a fill-in physician. She completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Michigan State University and her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Brittany Shoemake will practice at USMD’s Plano West Clinic. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center and her medical degree at University of Texas Medical Branch.
