USG : Named 2016 Edison Award Finalist

Collaboration with Tremco on Securock® ExoAir® 430 System to be Recognized at Edison Awards Gala

The distinguished awards, inspired by Thomas Edison's persistence and inventiveness, acknowledges USG's innovative collaboration with Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing (CS&W) to create the first-ever barrier panel technology.

USG and Tremco began collaborating more than four years ago to develop the Securock® ExoAir® 430 System. The integrated system combines USG's Securock® Glass-Mat Sheathing and Tremco's fluid applied air/ water barrier membrane into one effective barrier panel system. It protects buildings from air, water and vapor, which reduces heating and cooling costs for occupants, and benefits the environment by reducing worksite waste.
