Unitech Electronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 523.266 million compared to TWD 507.636 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 14.121 million compared to operating loss of TWD 2.048 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 11.384 million compared to TWD 3.768 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.24 compared to TWD 0.08 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,474.303 million compared to TWD 1,459.729 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 17.024 million compared to TWD 10.790 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 5.476 million compared to net income of TWD 1.496 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.12 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.03 a year ago.
Unitech Electronics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in research, design, manufacture, and sale of automatic identification data capture (AIDC) products under the brand unitech. The main products include military-grade mobile computers, barcode scanners, radio frequency identification (RFID) readers, access control and security terminals and related software. The Company is also engaged in barcode printer agency, electronic labels, intelligent logistics automation and warehouse management solutions and related accessories and consumables in the Taiwan market.
