Unitech Electronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 450.939 million compared to TWD 451.996 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 15.605 million compared to TWD 25.249 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 11.763 million compared to TWD 15.997 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.25 compared to TWD 0.34 a year ago.
Unitech Electronics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in research, design, manufacture, and sale of automatic identification data capture (AIDC) products under the brand unitech. The main products include military-grade mobile computers, barcode scanners, radio frequency identification (RFID) readers, access control and security terminals and related software. The Company is also engaged in barcode printer agency, electronic labels, intelligent logistics automation and warehouse management solutions and related accessories and consumables in the Taiwan market. The products are applied in products and services required for data collection in various industries, such as warehouse inventory, picking, production line data collection, access control, express and transportation management, meter reading, medical, security control and other applications and others. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan, other markets of Asia, America, Europe, and Oceania.
