As part of Technical Upgrading and Revamping Program for Transneft East, LLC facilities in 2015 a set of works at the facilities of pipeline infrastructure of Krasnoyarsk - Irkutsk, Omsk - Irkutsk oil trunk pipelines (OTP) and the first stage of Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean pipeline system (ESPO-I) was conducted.

A pipeline section with length of 30 km was replaced at Krasnoyarsk - Irkutsk OTP last year. Gradual updating of the linear portion of the OTP in overland sections and underwater crossing zones across water streams is conducted from 2009; earlier the enterprise replaced more than 40 km of the pipeline; taking into account the works conducted last year this figure was increased up to 70 km. The project is planned to be finished in the third quarter of 2016.

As well, according to the Transneft East, LLC Technical Upgrading and Revamping Program, in 2015 the number of stop valves units was increased at the linear portion of oil pipelines. In particular, 4 new valves were installed in the sections with seismic activity more than 8 at ESPO-I OTP. It provided additional safety level upon operation of the oil pipeline infrastructure facilities of the enterprise.

In the process of implementation of investment program of Transneft East, LLC in 2015 works on extension of ESPO-I pipeline system up to 80 million tons of oil a year and extension of capacity of Skovorodino - Mohe OTP from 15 to 30 million tons of oil a year were conducted. In particular, at oil pump station (OPS) No. 21 Skovorodino construction of a tank for oil storage with the amount of 50 thousand cubic meters was continued; the works are planned to be finished in the last quarter of this year. At Dzhalinda pipeline metering station the 4 measuring line of oil quantity and quality measuring system (OQQMS) was commissioned.

For the purpose of extension of capacity of ESPO-I pipeline system in 2015 construction of three new oil pump stations started in Irkutsk Region. Three more OPS will be constructed before 2020; so total number of OPS at ESPO-I will be increased up to 21.
