Adam Smith set-up both goals but it was little consolation as MK Dons lost 4-2 in League One at Stevenage on Tuesday night.

The full-back crossed for Jay O'Shea to open the scoring in the second minute but the home side levelled, Dons then had Mathias Doumbe sent off and Stevenage forged into a 3-1 lead.

Adam delivered again for Tom Flanagan to head home for 3-2 in the 86th minute but any hopes then 10 men had of an unlikely comeback were put to bed when Stevenage added a fourth two minutes later.

MONDAY NIGHT

Yago Falque made his debut for Southampton but it was a night to forget for the Championship title contenders as they suffered a 2-0 home loss to Leicester City.

Starting in midfield, Yago - pictured above - played 58 minutes as first half goals from David Nugent and Matt Mills won it for the Foxes.

WEEKEND ACTION

Kyle Naughton helped Norwich City pick up a deserved point against Chelsea on Saturday.

The full-back started on the left side of Norwich's defence and the Canaries defended stoutly as it ended goalless at Carrow Road.

Steven Caulker put in another full shift in the Premier League as Swansea suffered a 2-0 defeat at in-form Sunderland.

In the Championship, Harry Kane helped set-up Darius Henderson's hat-trick goal in Millwall's 3-1 win at Barnsley.

It was Henderson's second treble in a week after he scored three and Harry two in the FA Cup replay win against Dagenham last Tuesday.

Staying in the Championship, Andros Townsend played for 58 minutes before being substituted as Leeds ran out 3-1 winners against Ipswich at Elland Road.

David Button made a fine save in the first half but could do little as Bristol City recorded a 2-1 win at Ashton Gate.

In League One, Adam Smith was involved in a controversial late penalty decision that allowed Notts County to grab a late point against MK Dons.

Adam was adjudged to have handled Alan Judge's shot from distance and the Magpies scored from the spot in the 1-1 draw at Meadow Lane.

Jon Obika played 90 minutes and Dean Parrett 73 as Yeovil suffered a 3-2 loss at Bury.
