The Washington Post MEGA Career Fair will offer job seekers an opportunity to meet face-to-face with dozens of hiring employers. More than 2,500 jobseekers attended MEGA last year.

The event will take place on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 10am to 3pm at the Dulles Expo and Conference Center located at 4368 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly, VA 20153.

Employers participating in the fair include Lockheed Martin, REI Systems, Inc., United States Customs and Border Protection Information Technology Center, The Johns Hopkins Homecare Group, Inova Health System, Sentara Healthcare, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Allstate Insurance Company, Cox Communications, Nationwide Insurance, Transportation Security Administration, and many more.

There will be three events at one location catering to a range of employment interests:

  • Engineering, Technology and Security Clearance Pavilion: Open positions include Engineering, Systems Administrators, Air Traffic Controllers, Quality Assurance, Cyber Security, etc.
  • Nursing and Healthcare Pavilion: Open positions include RNs, LPNs, Physical Therapists, Home Care, Clinical Technicians, Social Workers, Case Managers, etc.
  • Professional Pavilion: Open positions include B2B Sales, Insurance, Finance, Transportation Security Officers, Federal Air Marshals, Sales managers, etc.

The event is free and open to the public. It will be held in partnership with Street Wise Partners, which provides a career mentoring program to help people move into professional employment. Free resume screening and tips will be provided by Anointed Words.
