Taganrog Boiler Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik : PJSC “Krasny Kotelshchik” develops a partnership with the largest thermal power plant of the Republic of Tatarstan

The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works "Krasny Kotelshchik" (TKZ) will supply a convection superheater of ТГМ-84Б Boiler (cl. 7) at Nizhnekamsk CHPP (Production and Technical Complex-1). The long-term comprehensive program for modernization of the plant boiler equipment is implemented by the official dealer of the Taganrog enterprise in Tatarstan - the TKZ-Service company.

Recall that the cooperation of PJSC "Krasny Kotelshchik" and the largest industrial and heating CHPP of the republic began more than 50 years ago at the plant construction stage. Then TKZ scope of supply included 16 ТГМ-84А and ТГМ-96Б boilers. Today, the Taganrog enterprise is performing retrofitting of these boilers and participating in increasing the capacity of the existing units at Nizhnekamsk CHPP (PTK-1).

Therefore, in January 2023, TKZ is planning to complete the production of a modernized convection superheater (CSH) of ТГМ-84Б Boiler (cl. 7). For this equipment new solutions will be implemented in terms of design and layout, which will increase the reliability of the CSH.

The production of this convection superheater is a continuation of a number of successful projects that TKZ completed in 2022, earning the customer's gratitude. This refers to the supply of a wall and ceiling superheater of ТГМ-96Б Boiler (cl. 14), ТГМ-84А Boiler water walls (cl. 2, 3), as well as the rear water wall of ТГМ-96Б Boiler (cl. 13).

When implementing the projects, TKZ took into account all the requests of Nizhnekamsk CHPP (PTK-1). In particular, the new equipment has been designed taking into account the need for installation of existing boilers in confined spaces. Minimal financial and time costs for erection work are provided. The reliability of new assemblies has been improved, which will have a positive effect on the boiler service life.
