Taganrog Boiler Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik : Equipment of PJSC “Krasny Kotelshchik” will be used at PJSC “Mosenergo” CHPP-12

The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works "Krasny Kotelshchik" (TKZ) has completed the complete delivery of a high-pressure drum. The equipment was received by CHPP-12 of PJSC "Mosenergo", an important power facility, which is responsible for supplying electrical and thermal energy to the central parts of Moscow.

The new drum will operate as part of the TП-80 Power Boiler (plant No. 8) manufactured by PJSC "Krasny Kotelshchik". Replacement after many years of successful operation and bringing one of the most important elements of the boiler unit to the standard state will help ensure the continuity of technological processes for heat generation.

The drum with a length of over 18 meters and weight of about 90 tons will ensure water and steam separation for their further supply to the down-take pipes and the boiler superheater, purify steam and create water reserve in the boiler unit. Its design includes a separation device - it has been modernised in the drum for CHPP-12 of PJSC "Mosenergo". In addition, a reliable system of steam heating and cooling is installed.

In addition to the main equipment, the TKZ delivery set includes water level gauges, which will be installed directly on the drum maintenance platform, as well as leveling vessels, to which the level gauges will be connected with remote data transmission to the boiler control system.
