Tata Elxsi Limited announced audited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 3,455.364 million compared to INR 3,102.447 million a year ago. Total income from operations (net) was INR 3,523.492 million compared to INR 3,126.607 million a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 940.157 million compared to INR 667.857 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 627.656 million or INR 10.08 per basic and diluted share compared to INR 441.478 million or INR 7.09 per basic and diluted share a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 10,109.200 million compared to INR 9,103.150 million a year ago. Total income from operations (net) was INR 10,345.450 million compared to INR 9,197.723 million a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 2,553.310 million compared to INR 1,984.674 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 1,697.487 million or INR 27.26 per basic and diluted share compared to INR 1,312.931 million or INR 21.08 per basic and diluted share a year ago.
