Presents Donation to American Red Cross

May 18, 2011 (Irvine, Calif.)— Employees of Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. raised $9,000 during a four-week period to donate to the American Red Cross (ARC) to assist the victims of Japan’s March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The Company matched, dollar for dollar, employee contributions, bringing the total to $18,000. ARCs Orange County Chapter Chief Operating Officer Janet Whitcomb accepted the company-donated portion on May 12 from Bill Mathies, Sun’s chief executive officer, and Cindy Chrispell, Sun’s senior vice president of human resources.

“I am proud of our many caring employees who want to help those in need, despite the less than favorable economic conditions. Their willingness to help is very touching,” said Mathies.

To date, American Red Cross donations have totaled $133 million for the victims of the

9.0 magnitude earthquake and resulting tsunami.
