Sporting Clube de Portugal's futsal department has joined up with UBI (Universidade da Beira Interior), penning a deal on Sunday that will see the two institutions work together.

The agreement between Sporting and UBI brings the two closer when it comes to coaches, players, university students, sports managers and the organisation of events and training camps.

Sporting's director of futsal, Miguel Albuquerque, represented Alvalade at the signing, alongside João Queiroz on the part of UBI.
