Sophia Holdings Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:6942) agreed to acquire 8.73% stake in Salus Co., Ltd. from Hideo Kinoshita for ¥0.22 million on August 8, 2012. Sophia will acquire 215 shares of Salus. For the year ending February 2012, Salus reported net liabilities of ¥266.85 million, total assets of ¥190.66 million, sales of ¥1.4 billion, operation loss of ¥38 million and net loss of ¥57.33 million. The Board of Directors of Sophia resolved the deal on August 8, 2012 and share acquisition date is expected to be August 9, 2012.
