SOCResources, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was PHP 58.570 million compared to PHP 8.993 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 2.269 million compared to net loss of PHP 2.825 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.0025 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of PHP 0.0047 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was PHP 106.250 million compared to PHP 17.194 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 10.918 million compared to net loss of PHP 10.711 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.0121 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of PHP 0.0119 a year ago.
SOCResources, Inc. is a Philippines-based holding company. The Company is primarily engaged in oil exploration. It has investments in real estate, steel fabrication, banking, telecommunications and energy exploration. The Company is engaged in various construction-related contracts for the Anala, Azalea and Althea Projects. The Company operates through two segments: real estate development and investment. The real estate development segment is engaged in the real estate business. The investment segment pertains to the activities of the Company as a holding entity. The Company has two subsidiaries, SOC Land Development Corporation (SOC Land), and SOCBluemoon, Inc. (SOCBluemoon).
