Today Sky has announced an extension to its relationship with Warner Bros. which will see customers in the UK, Germany and Austria benefit from access to some of the world's most exciting films. The deal will give viewers the chance to see Warner Bros. films such as Wonder Woman premiere on Sky Cinema sooner than ever before (following the home entertainment window), special channels dedicated to some of the biggest movie franchises, plus brilliant films from the Warner Bros. library.

The agreement with Warner Bros. further strengthens the group's content offering by ensuring Sky is able to provide the best and broadest range of content to its customers.

Now Sky Cinema customers will be able to enjoy all of the top ten grossing films in the world from last year and access top movie brands including Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. This is on top of dedicated genre channels, a brand new premiere every day and over 1000 movies on demand.

Ian Lewis, Group Director of Sky Cinema said: 'When it comes to movies, Sky Cinema offers our customers the best choice, the best platforms and our renewed deal with Warner Bros. will strengthen our service even further. Warner Bros. offers some of the most iconic films, actors and directors and we're thrilled to continue this relationship.'

Kate Ingber, Head of Acquisitions, Movies said: 'We are thrilled to have reached such a great agreement to extend and build on what is already a hugely successful relationship between Sky and our friends at Warner Bros.'
