SHANGHAI ZHENHUA HEAVY INDUSTRIES CO., LTD. On December 7, ZPMC and PSA Halifax Port of Canada held the ceremony in New York of USA to sign the 1+1 quay crane contract.
The project announced the invitation for bid in April this year. During the period of business talk, the two parties made many online communications, reaching consensus in business and technology in the end. The project will use a large number of high-quality accessories made in China, thus gaining more price competitiveness and better securing the delivery date.
PSA Halifax Port, formerly known as Halterm Container Terminal, was purchased by PSA in October 2019. In October 2013 and February 2019, PSA Halifax Port signed contract with ZPMC to purchase two quay cranes and one quay crane respectively. Even in the period of COVID-19, ZMPC has completed the production and delivery of quay cranes while continuing to provide support. The users give high praise to ZPMC teams for the equipment quality and service.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Financial Director Andrew Snelgrove of PSA Halifax Port and personnel from ZPMC Marketing Office, General Design Institute and ZMPC North America.
